Learning how to die,
Learning how to let go,
It starts as a child
And lasts ‘til we’re old.
These earthly treasures
We all hold so dear,
Their worth that we measure
With heartache and tears.
Some treasures are people,
Some treasures are things,
None last forever,
Not even for kings.
You learn how to die,
By learning how to let go,
Nothing’s more important
Than your immortal soul.
