Each time I walked with eyes cast down
And felt too weak to reach God in prayer;
It is then, he came down to me,
As he watched my footsteps falter.
Within my heart, he poured out his grace,
And gave me strength to walk on further;
He patiently waited for me to recover
So once again, I could look up to the father.
He sees us when we can no longer stand
And it is then, he holds out his hand;
He shines a light and the darkness disbands,
For it is only he, who always understands.
