LIFE’S FLAMES

Each day I pray,
I seek His face,
And kneel before
The throne of grace.

Petitions long,
I know He hears,
I see His love
In those with tears.

They bare up strong,
They falter not,
They stand in trust,
Prayers not for naught.

For mercy, seek,
He knows the names,
They cry aloud…
Caught in life’s flames.
