LIFE’S DOMINOES

Life can change so suddenly
And gone from us the norm,
And leave us here a pondering…
From whence has come the storm?

You find your life in shambles
When yesterday was fine,
You sit aghast a wondering…
From God, who cut the vine?

Again you gather pieces
And place them side by side,
Trying to remember
Just how they fit inside.

The puzzle now is different,
The norm no longer there,
Somehow you find it richer…
Life’s value now aware.

Acceptance of its changes
Finds in you inner peace,
When trusting in the will of God…
That willed the old to cease.
