A Walk within my Shoes

Come...step into my shoes, my child,
And live the things that you don't see,
Take a walk back through my life...
Tell me, child, can you see me?

Do you see me now the same?
Can you see me now as real?
Can you see the ways I bleed?
Tell me, child, what you feel.

Was life what you remembered
When you cast your stones at me?
In my shoes, can you now see...
Where my shoes have carried me?

Do you find your own as bad,
Now that you've walked within my own?
Would you like to walk in mine
And not just have them as a loan?

Come, my child, remove my shoes,
I don't want my life for you,
Come...let us now walk in new light...
Now that you know me as you do.

If they could only us for who we are, they might see their lives differently. Thanks for sharing.
