WE DON’T WALK ALONE
Each time I walk through valleys deep,
I feel that hope is lost to me,
But then I find the will to climb
And once again the sun I see.
While in the valley I do not see
My Lord is walking next to me,
For in the darkness all lights are out,
I feel my God can’t hear me shout.
To travel through this thing called life
We need to not walk it alone,
We need the strength that’s found in faith;
We’ll falter if left on our own.
We suffer heartache, suffer strife,
See the valleys dark and low…
Face the mountains looming high…
Bare the sting of hurt and sorrow.
With God we find the strength to climb,
We see the light of grace that’s shown;
We make it through the darkened valleys,
Because we don’t walk them alone.
