FOR LOWLY MAN
His spirit dwells long with souls forsaken
And hears their cries rise from darkened alleys,
He goes where no man comes to the rescue,
For God loves the man we see as feces.
God seeks wounded lambs seen lying in streets
And brings them healing when man's seen to run,
His grace pouring on, ones life rejected...
Earth's forgotten, the dirty, the smitten.
Filled are the heavens with souls such as these,
The men in disgrace, the ones seen as scum,
The ones which mankind has long thrown away,
For men such as this we saw Savior come.
